It’s the reassuring stories like this one that comfort us in knowing that there are people out there who will always be ready and willing to help and give all what they can to those in need.

La3yoonak, which literally translates to ‘For Your Eyes’ is one of the sweetest endearments in our language which means, correct me if I’m wrong ‘Anything for your eyes’. It’s also the name of the campaign launched by Muhammad Al-Wakeel, host of Bi Saraha, one of Radio Fann’s programs, in a quick response to a call from a mother of a 7-month-old child who suffered from a deformation in his left eye’s iris. So far the campaign raised 250 thousand JDs, in addition to 3,000 irises from donors.
This is exactly the kind of social responsibility companies around the region should increasingly get involved in.
Thank you Muhammad Al-Wakeel, Radio Fann, Prince Ra’ad bin Zeid and all the other involved organizations.
If you, or anyone you know, would like to help, contact the show on bisaraha@radiofann.com or to simply thank them for their extraordinary efforts.
